What will you be doing?
Wheely Tots is keen to hear from people interested in what we do who might want to get involved with running the charity as a trustee. The role description gives an indication of the trustee role. You do not need to meet all the requirements; if you are interested then we want to hear from you. We are seeking interested people who are:
Able to act as an ambassador for us and leverage their network to help us with promoting our activities, fundraising, access to space and venues Have lived or living experience relevant to the activities of Wheely Tots (eg. East Haringey resident, attendee at Wheely Tots activities
What are we looking for?
You do not need to meet all the requirements listed; if you are interested in our charity and the work we do then we want to hear from you. Competencies:
Able to act as an ambassador for us and leverage your network to help us with fundraising eg corporate volunteering, organising events, access to space and venues Have lived or living experience relevant to the activities of Wheely Tots (eg. East Haringey resident, attendee at Wheely Tots activities) Able to work alone or with a buddy Discreet and trustworthy with excellent organisational skills Flexible and adaptable Confident communicator by email, phone and video call Experience using Google Drive (or similar) Comfortable dealing with different people from diverse backgrounds and experiences Self-motivated Receptive to new ways of working and finding the most efficient way to do things
What difference will you make?
Two of our trustees are reaching the end of their term after six years; we are seeking to replace them before they leave to allow for a period of handover and introductions to remaining team of trustees. This is an opportunity to join a team of trustees as we grow and develop our organisation to achieve our aims of building connections to each other and the outdoors.
