Our project aims to support and bring about positive changes in the lives of adults living with loneliness, unemployment or who are socially excluded through mental illness, learning difficulties or deprivation. The additional funds will enable these people to positively contribute towards the local community, whilst feeding themselves and supplying food to the local food banks. Our aim is to make this a widespread movement across Hertfordshire, and bring communities together, whilst supplying naturally grown foods to the community, thereby providing communities with scalable resilience. We develop our horticulture and floristry projects and our work with vulnerable and lonely adults in our community. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn more about horticulture and community projects and has fundraising experience.
