What are we looking for?
A keen interest in young people and an understanding of the challenges they may face. Previous experience working in education or with young people would be useful. A knowledge of our geographical area of coverage might be helpful as would experience in grant making. There is opportunity to develop the role according to an individual's skills (eg finance, IT, marketing).
What difference will you make?
Governors will be working with a charity established in the 15th century to support the education of those in need in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Ramridge. Young people have been supported in their academic interests, the arts, sports and in apprenticeships and skills based training.
