What will you be doing?

The Governors of the Ewelme Exhibition Endowment, a charity awarding bursaries and grants to young people in state and independent education, are looking for a colleague to join them. Suitable candidates should have a keen interest in education and skills training for young people and be prepared to attend between 6 and 8 meetings a year in the day time normally in Ewelme or Oxford. If you are interested please send a CV with short covering letter by email.

What are we looking for?

A keen interest in young people and an understanding of the challenges they may face.  Previous experience working in education or with young people would be useful.  A knowledge of our geographical area of coverage might be helpful as would experience in grant making. There is opportunity to develop the role according to an individual's skills (eg finance, IT, marketing).

What difference will you make?

Governors will be working with  a charity established in the 15th century to support the education of those in need in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Ramridge.  Young people have been supported in their academic interests, the arts, sports and in apprenticeships and skills based training.
