What will you be doing?
We are searching for a committed and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Volunteer Treasurer This pivotal role will involve overseeing the financial operations of our charity, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with UK regulatory standards. The Treasurer will play a crucial role in supporting the financial sustainability and effectiveness of our charity. Key Skills Required:
Proficiency in financial management and accounting Experience in budget management and financial reporting Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and reports Knowledge of charity finance regulations and compliance Strong written and verbal communication skills Capability to work independently and remotely Previous experience in the charity sector is advantageous A professional accounting qualification is desirable

The Treasurer's expertise in financial management will be invaluable to the charity's efforts to engage policymakers, mobilize resources, and build partnerships to address this critical public health issue effectively. AMR poses a significant threat to public health globally, with estimates suggesting that by 2050, AMR could cause up to 10 million deaths annually if left unchecked. AMR can impact a wide range of infectious diseases caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi. Some of the conditions that can be affected by AMR include (Not limited to):
