What is Sylvera anyway? Sylvera helps organisations make confident decisions in carbon and commodity markets. We independently assess the quality of carbon projects, track market pricing and supply signals, and provide geospatial and carbon intensity data — giving our clients the clarity they need to invest in real climate action. We're a team of 130+ scientists, engineers, and market experts based across London, New York, São Paulo, Singapore, and Tokyo. Our work spans market intelligence, geospatial analytics, multi-scale lidar research, and policy analysis. We partner with governments and policymakers to raise the bar for transparency and rigour across carbon markets. Backed by over $96 million from investors including Fidelity, Balderton Capital, Index Ventures, and Insight Partners, we're trusted by Fortune 500 companies, major financial institutions, and governments worldwide. If you care about climate, enjoy solving hard problems, and want to work with people who take the mission seriously — we'd love to hear from you.

The role: AI has now hit an inflection point where it genuinely can drive massive efficiencies in how businesses scale. Sylvera is at the intersection of two major emerging trends - climate and AI. We provide highly trusted carbon data, insights and tooling using an unparalleled combination of proprietary algorithms, physical field research, world class subject matter experts and emergent AI technologies - and we are now scaling faster than ever before. This role is the first of its kind and will apply the same innovation to our commercial operations, ensuring we leverage AI and new tools to increase our pipe generation, revenue growth and retention. As a result, the role will have an unusual level of direct exposure to commercial leadership. You will be managed and onboarded onto relevant tooling by our Revenue Ops Lead, and will immediately begin work on a blend of quick wins and larger scale projects. Whilst this is a 6 month internship, we aim to promote high performing candidates to full time roles from as early as 2 months in. You'll work across all areas of commercial, focus on identify opportunity and effort required to have maximum impact on topline results.

Job requirements: Technical in skillset, commercial in mindset — you're as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are thinking about business impact. Strong academics, ideally in a quantitative discipline (e.g. maths, computer science, economics, engineering). We have a preference for candidates who can show ‘hacker’ mindset e.g. entrepreneurship, app building, enjoys problem solving. AI-native mindset: Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, workflow automation, enrichment tools) to improve productivity, automate processes, analyse data, and accelerate campaign execution. Highly detail-oriented, analytical and process driven. Comfort working with data — whether that's Excel, Google Sheets, SQL or a BI tool, you're not intimidated by a messy dataset and you know how to turn it into something useful. Exposure to data enrichment (Zoominfo/Lusha), sales engagement (Outreach) and ABM platforms is a plus but not required.

Benefits: Private Health Insurance and Life Assurance. Unlimited annual leave — and encouragement to actually use it! Up to 20 days paid sick leave / year. No corners cut in having the best tech to do your job. Access to Mental Health support. Monthly team socials.
