What will you be doing?
We are advertising for a part time role to run our digital marketing. The charity was set up in 2019 to provide advocacy, support and information for individuals across the UK who have X-linked hypophosphataemia (XLH). XLH and related disorders are rare and so communications requires a tailored approach, working through our community and the health system to improve access to better care and treatments. We have a recently redesigned our Wordpress website, a lively Facebook community and publish regular newsletters to keep the community informed. Has the ability to work as a team member and contribute flexibly Has strong digital communication and design skills Has a can-do attitude and a desire to make connections Is motivated to contribute to better health outcomes for people from all walks of life
The ideal candidate will be able to dedicate around 5 hours a week to ensure our website, blogs and social media remain relevant and timely. You will work closely with the Chair, who holds overall responsibility for Marketing and Communications. #LI-Remote
What are we looking for?
Digital communication skills, with experience of using
Wordpress Mailchimp Canva YouTube Multiple social media platforms
Strong copywriting skills and some design skills The curiosity and confidence to engage with our community
