Volunteer Board member with a focus on Fundraising strategy

What will you be doing?

We would love to find a highly literate and motivated person to work closely with us in order to maximise the effectiveness of our work, identify and explore funding opportunities and develop funding bids for our education, outreach and creative programs. A minimum of 3 years experience in either bid writing or fundraising strategy is required.

What are we looking for?

The ideal person will have the teamwork and social skills to work happily alongside the rest of the board. They will be driven to support and promote the advancement of our charitable work and be motivated to seek out and build legacy relationships with individual givers, funding bodies and organisations.  More importantly they will offer diligence and commitment in their duties. A minimum of 3 years experience in either bid writing or fundraising strategy is required.

What difference will you make?

Our ability to provide our services free or accessibly is entirely reliant on funding. We cannot stress enough the importance of this role and the difference building a solid fundraising strategy into our system would have. Our work makes a huge difference to people lives, from providing accecssible entertainment to families across the UK to doing outreach with protected or disenfranchised groups and providing career development programs for young aspiring artists and those identified as NEET.  None of it is possible without financial support:
