What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Management:

Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy aligned with the organization's goals. Coordinate all aspects of events, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring seamless logistics and participant engagement. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to organize fundraising events, awareness campaigns, and community outreach programs. Evaluate the success of events, gathering feedback, and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with other organizations, community groups, and influencers to expand the reach and impact of events and campaigns.

Digital Campaigning:

Devise and execute effective digital campaigns to raise awareness about abusive relationships, the services provided by The Cassandra Centre, and related issues. Oversee the creation and dissemination of compelling content across various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and email newsletters. Explore innovative digital fundraising initiatives to support the financial sustainability of the organization. Leverage events and campaigns to enhance donor engagement and stewardship.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in event planning and management. Proven success in developing and implementing digital campaigns. Strong understanding of fundraising principles and strategies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills. Passionate commitment to The Cassandra Centre's mission and values. Knowledge of issues related to abusive relationships and a commitment to promoting positive change.
