Volunteer Sponsorship Officer

What will you be doing?

Duties and responsibilities:

Identify potential new partners aligned with Pride Cymru’s belief & values

Initiating contact with prospective partners & relationship/rapport building

Pitch sponsorship opportunities to potential partners

Collaborate with multiple areas of Pride Cymru to ensure a smooth onboarding of new partners

About you

A genuine desire to support the LGBTQIA+ community in Wales

Commitment to upholding and promoting values for equality, diversity and inclusion

Ensure work is completed to a high professional standard and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

Attend appropriate meetings/events

Represent the organisational ethos and values

Carry out any other reasonable duties as the role develops and as may be requested by the management/trustees

What are we looking for?

Previous experience in new business development, account management or corporate sponsorship environment Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills Self-motivated with the ability to work on one’s own initiative Interpersonal skills to aid in relationship building
