Volunteer Trustee

What will you be doing?

The Board are passionate and forward thinking people with a range of different experience.  We are looking for a Trustee with extensive experience to strengthen the board. You will have the support of the current Chair and trustees. We have exciting plans for the future including refurbishing the community hub.  Applicants will need to demonstrate their understanding of charity governance and leadership. We are actively fundraising to refurbish and improve facilities at the Hive Hub.  As a trustee you will attend around 4-6 board meetings a year. You will be encouraged to take on responsibilities within the charity and work with sub groups and other trustees.

We are looking for someone with experience of charity governance and a vast skill set who feels that they can offer valuable contributions and support to the charity.

As part of our board you will support and shape our work and strategic direction, as well as help us achieve our purpose to develop and improve the building that offers a hub for local community groups and charities.  This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our support to the local community groups.
