Volunteer Treasurer

What will you be doing?

The organisation is in transition to becoming a larger charity, including diversifying into related Family focused projects that support our main delivery. We're looking for someone who has experience of steering a small to medium charity, ideally with some lived experience of domestic abuse or an in depth knowledge of the sector/area.

What are we looking for?

Financial qualifications and experience  

Some experience of charity finance, fundraising and pension schemes  

The skills to analyse proposals and examine their financial consequences  

Being prepared to make unpopular recommendations to the board  

A willingness to be available to senior staff for advice and enquiries on an ad hoc basis
