Role Summary

The role: As a key player in this rapidly evolving space, we are growing our commercial team in the EMEA region and hiring an exceptional, self-motivated Sales Development Representative to drive pipeline creation. Reporting into the VP Marketing, you’ll be working closely with dedicated Account Executives and the rest of our commercial and marketing team. Specific responsibilities will include: Inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting, identifying product fit and scheduling meetings with accounts, strategizing with Marketing and Account Executives on ICP targeting to fill pipeline, conducting high-level conversations with all levels from midsize companies up to enterprise C-Suite and VP-level to address their sustainability and commercial goals, creating strategic email sequences and outbound campaigns to target prospect accounts, continuously maintaining and updating CRM, and achieving monthly qualified meeting booking and outbound opportunity pipeline KPIs.
Job requirements: We’re looking for someone who has 2+ years experience in business development, sales or related field with lead qualification across managers, directors, VPs, and C-level executives. Full professional proficiency in English is required, and other European languages would be a bonus! Excellent written and verbal communication skills and call manner are essential. Previous business development or sales experience is necessary. The ideal candidate cares deeply about the climate and ecosystems of the earth, is willing and able to work from our London office on a regular basis, is a self-starter who thrives in constantly evolving environments, ideally with start-ups, and wants to bring their creativity and ideas to help shape our business and contribute to making a positive climate impact.
