Who We Are: We're rebuilding the energy transaction system, making it transparent and fair. tem exists to put power back in the hands of people. Today's wholesale energy market is stacked in favor of the few. It's a product of an age of oil and gas, riddled with markups and middlemen. We're changing that. Our product, RED™, built on a proprietary pricing engine that bypasses the wholesale market, enables businesses to buy the energy produced by renewable generators directly. That's 100% transparent transactions, ensuring affordable bills and fair compensation, to give every business ownership and control over where their energy comes from. Since launching in 2021, we've saved UK businesses and generators over £20 million, powering a growing network of forward-thinking companies, from Pizza Pilgrims to Silverstone. Backed by top-tier VCs such as Atomico and Albion, we're creating a new category in energy - one that's local, decentralised, and built on trust.

The Role: We're hiring an Energy Operations Coordinator. Your job is to own the day-to-day coordination that makes metering and registrations run smoothly, so customers go live on time and bills are accurate. This is a highly executional role with real impact. You will become our in-house metering operations specialist, working across partners and internal teams to remove bottlenecks, resolve exceptions, and keep our data and timelines clean. Operating model context: tem does not hold a supply licence. Versa acts as our licensed supplier partner and coordinates with metering agents such as Haste (MOP) and TMA (DC/DA) for physical metering work. That means progress depends on third parties. This role exists to make sure we still deliver a fast, accountable, high-trust experience. You'll sit in the Operations team and work closely with Customer Experience, Billing, and the Operations domain Expert.

Responsibilities: Own metering registrations end-to-end: Submit, track, and close registrations via Versa, including objections, re-applications, and confirmations. Coordinate connections, disconnections, and site visits: Keep all parties aligned (Versa, metering agents, DNOs, customers), and ensure issues are fully closed out. Keep appointments and records correct: Ensure metering agent appointments are correct ahead of billing runs, with audit-ready evidence and clean handoffs. Maintain accurate internal status: Keep CR/Omni and the Billing team up to date with clear, accurate, time-stamped updates. Improve how we operate over time: Spot repeat failure modes, document workflows, and support automation testing and process improvement.

Requirements: Must-haves 1 to 3 years of experience in energy operations, metering operations, or closely related industry operations. Practical understanding of new connections and disconnections processes. Hands-on experience coordinating metering appointments and site visits. MHHS readiness: exposure to MHHS changes, or the ability to learn fast and embed into the programme quickly. Strong coordination skills across external partners and internal teams. Nice-to-haves Direct MHHS programme experience. Familiarity with COP compliance, MPAN vs MSID nuances, and DNO processes. Experience improving workflows through documentation, tooling, or automation.

Benefits & Perks: Salary aligned to internal benchmarks and reviewed twice a year. Stock options so everyone has ownership in our mission. 25 days holiday plus public holidays. Swap public holidays for the ones that matter most to you, and enjoy your birthday off. Remote first and flexible working, with clear core hours and no internal meetings on Friday afternoons. Home working and wellbeing budgets: Up to £1,200 or €1,200 per year for your remote setup. Up to £150 or €150 per month for wellbeing.
