The Eden Project, in partnership with Lancashire Wildlife Trust, is excited to offer the position of Engagement and Wellbeing Officer for 'The Bay: a Blueprint for Recovery', a coastal wellbeing programme in Morecambe. This role is supported by the National Lottery Community Fund and is a fixed term position for 2 years, with continuation dependent on funding.

The Organisation: 'The Bay: a Blueprint for Recovery' is an established initiative aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of the community and the health of the local natural environment. The programme is designed to engage participants in nature-based activities that promote wellbeing and environmental conservation.

The Role: As the Engagement and Wellbeing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and therapeutic nature-based activities. You will work alongside the Nature and Wellbeing Officer and other team members within the Eden Project and Lancashire Wildlife Trust. Your role will include organizing and leading activities, managing volunteers, and ensuring the programme's objectives are met effectively.

Job Requirements: Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a strong background in environmental or health and social care sectors. Experience in coordinating activities, working with diverse groups, and managing volunteers is essential. Knowledge of conservation techniques and mental health therapies is also required.
