The Planning Director (Commercial) is a key member of our leadership team at GOOD, focused on expanding and enhancing our commercial client base. This role involves close collaboration with client teams and direct reporting to the Managing Director to ensure delivery of top-tier strategic insights and solutions.
The role: As a Planning Director, you will engage in critical strategic conversations, leveraging your excellent communication skills and strong presence to influence and challenge existing ideas. Your responsibilities include identifying core issues that impact our clients and developing effective strategies to address these challenges, ultimately leading to award-winning creative and communication solutions with tangible real-world impact. You will handle and interpret data, utilize diverse research methodologies, and synthesize information to derive innovative and disruptive insights. Your expertise will also extend to driving media engagement through strategic messaging and communications planning.
Job requirements: Candidates should have at least 8 years of strategic experience in top agencies, with a proven track record of delivering successful strategies and campaigns across various projects. Experience in the charity sector is highly valued. You should also demonstrate capability in managing teams, contributing to new business development, and maintaining strong client relationships.
