  • Own your territory and pipeline
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to generate and close Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) above £400K
  • Operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, making high-quality decisions swiftly
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and provide accurate forecasts
  • Explore and develop new markets or territories in line with company values

Role Requirements:

  • Strong foundation in ESG, environmental, or climate science
  • Significant network within corporate and sustainability sectors
  • Proven track record of learning and mastering complex sales cycles
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for pitching, both in-person and virtually

The Role As a Senior Business Development Manager at Foodsteps, you will be responsible for owning your territory and pipeline, collaborating closely with the Marketing team to generate and close Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) above £400K. This role requires operating in a dynamic, fast-changing environment where making high-quality decisions swiftly is crucial. You will implement top-tier sales processes, maintain CRM hygiene, and provide accurate forecasts. Additionally, you will explore and develop new markets or territories while maintaining the company's values and collaborating across teams.

Job Requirements The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in ESG, environmental science, or climate science, coupled with a demonstrable network within corporate and sustainability sectors. You should have a proven track record of learning and mastering complex sales cycles, particularly with mature organisations in the corporate space. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential, especially in delivering technical descriptions related to carbon accounting. A passion for pitching, both in-person and virtually, is also crucial.
