Role Summary

- The role is primarily site-based with occasional work from home
Role Requirements
- Resilience, resourcefulness, and a positive attitude towards embracing differences
- A recognized Social Worker qualification and current registration with Social Work England or equivalent
- Experience in a multi-disciplinary NHS setting and knowledge of child and young people development
- You will be subject to a criminal record check

Our mission is to provide strength and support during these incredibly tough times. We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our team at Sheffield Children's Hospital.
The Role: You will be joining our social work team in Sheffield, working closely with an established NHS multi-disciplinary team and community services. This role involves high-quality social work support tailored to the individual needs of children and young people diagnosed with cancer and their families. The position is predominantly site-based with some flexibility to work from home. This role requires a criminal record check and Social Worker Registration.
About You: We are looking for candidates who are resilient, resourceful, and have a positive attitude towards embracing differences. You should have a recognized Social Worker qualification and current registration with Social Work England or equivalent. Experience in a multi-disciplinary NHS setting and knowledge of child and young people development are essential.
