Volunteer innovative Community Marketing Strategist

What will you be doing?

Analyse demographic data, social trends, and community needs to understand barriers to engagement and develop targeted outreach strategies. Develop and implement a comprehensive community engagement strategy to reach and connect with hard-to-reach populations. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify outreach opportunities and develop tailored approaches for different communities. Plan and execute outreach campaigns, and initiatives to raise awareness and promote participation in community events. Utilize a variety of communication channels, including social media, grassroots outreach, community meetings, and targeted advertising, to reach diverse audiences. Adapt communication styles, messaging, and outreach strategies to resonate with the cultural norms, values, and preferences of different populations. Identify and address barriers to participation, such as language barriers, transportation issues, childcare needs, and cultural sensitivities, to ensure equal access for all community members. Collect data and feedback from community members to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts and measure impact. Use qualitative and quantitative data to assess engagement levels, identify successes and challenges, and inform continuous improvement. Build relationships and partnerships with community leaders, organisations, and influencers within hard-to-reach communities seek local volunteers and other partners who would get invoived in outreach work provide training and support build their capacity to engage with hard-to-reach communities effectively and sensitively, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and values.

Due to the Pandemic and the lack of places to go in our community, it is especially hard for this marginalised community to come our of their homes for us to engage them in activities and workshops that will benefit them, we need your help You will help to increase attendance and engagement from hard-to-reach communities and make community events and workshops more inclusive and welcoming to diverse populations. You will help to ensure that community members are aware of and have access to the resources, programs, and opportunities offered by our organisation, addressing unmet needs and promoting community well-being. By addressing systemic barriers and inequalities, the marketer would contribute to creating a more equitable and inclusive society where all individuals have the opportunity to thrive and participate fully in community life. You will help us reach out to the various volunteering communities to spread the word.
