What will you be doing?
The trustees of Mosaik Education are seeking an independent examiner to provide assurance on its first Annual Report & Financial Statements. The independent examination must be conducted in accordance with Charity Commission guidance (click here). The independent examination can be completed remotely. The examiner will be given full access to the charity’s cash book (excel) and the underlying books and records (stored on google drive) plus any other documentation required. The charity’s Finance Advisor and CEO will be available to answer questions throughout the process.
What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience of charity accounting. Previous experience as an independent examiner would be helpful, but is not essential. Legally, an independent examiner must be independent of the charity and be a member of one the following bodies:

Mosaik received its charity registration number in February 2018 and as such is preparing its first set of annual accounts.
