What will you be doing?
We are looking for a Fundraising and Corporate Partnerships Trustee to be responsible for a helping us to develop and drive an ambitious fundraising strategy and help to build our profile. Duties: Strategic
Consider the organisation’s strategic plans and make sure they reflect current fundraising requirements. Support the treasurer and management team in research and development of a rolling fundraising programme to support current and future programmes Work with the CO to regularly review the organisation's best practice in regards to safer fundraising and value for money.
Policy and Practice
Understand the monitoring your charity does to see whether policies and procedures are effective and learn from best practice locally and nationally. Be a point of contact for staff or volunteers if someone wishes to complain about a lack of action in relation to fundraising.
Creating the right culture
Champion current fundraising thinking throughout the organisation. Attend relevant training events and conferences. Support the trustees in developing their individual and collective understanding of fundraising responsibilities.
What are we looking for?
Essential Skills/Experience
Strong donor relationships experience Strong links to local government funding boards Self-motivation IT literate Good communication and people management skills.
Desirable Skills/Experience
Non-Profit fundraising experience Knowledge of mental health issues particularly in relation to children and young people Trustee or governance experience
In addition to the above, the Fundraising and Corporate Partnerships Trustee will also have the responsibilities and qualities of all trustees. Essential qualities and attributes of all trustees
