What will you be doing?

Read Easy Torbay has been established for nearly 8 years and have been helping adults who live in the area to develop their literacy skills. We are specifically looking for volunteers from Torquay and Newton Abbott. 

What are we looking for?

  Read Easy Torbay require the applicant to have at least 3 years experience in the following: A teaching background. Excellent communication skills Worked with general public Ability to work on own Been employed in an environment where empathy, patience and be non judgemental are important

What difference will you make?

You will be provided with initial training and then ongoing training.  You will enjoy the satisfaction of seeing an adult thrive during the development of the literacy skills, be part of the opportunities that will be available for these adults.  You will meet like minded people who are passionate in helping adults to read.
