What will you be doing?
Head of Fundraising is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the organisation’s growth within the commuinty. Head of Fundraising will be responsible for Leading in the field and developing a Fundraising Region in Hertforshire working in line with local commuinties, retail stores, council and schools to the highest of standards. Head of Fundraising will be expected to drive fundraiser performance to facilitate the growth and running of the region, encompassing both recruitment and training of staff as well as their ongoing development, mentoring and motivation. You will be expected to be proactive in creating, and delivering, plans to support and enhance the effectiveness of your Team Leaders and Fundraisers in their roles. You will have the opportunity to put your own stamp on a fundraising region and take ownership for its development and performance with support from a strong and experienced management and support team that offers ongoing training, development and progression.
What are we looking for?
Have experience in the Face-to-Face Fundraising sector. Have an ethical professional character that always displays honesty and integrity. Possess tact, diplomacy, and assertiveness to inspire, build confidence and motivate team members in a changing environment. Be able to thrive in a changeable environment and meet the challenges of a multi-site field fundraising region. Be able work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines, with a dedication to meeting and exceeding expectations both on performance and quality Be Socially confident with strong interpersonal skills

We deliver essential mental health support in Hertfordshire, providing a diverse range of services from Waltham Cross Wellbeing Hub. Funded locally, our services are available to all residents in Hertfordshire over the age of 18 and we offer dedicated services for 16 - 20 year olds. We create opportunities for individuals experiencing mental ill health to make choices, find their solutions, build resilience and manage their wellbeing. Our services are based on the principle of self-help with a strong emphasis on prevention, personal development, self-management and improving health and wellbeing. We provide opportunities for individuals to access support to enable them to recover from or live with mental ill health.
