Volunteer Bid Writer with a flair for persuasive writing and a knack for fundraising

What will you be doing?

As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in securing funding that enables us to carry out our mission and bring positive change to those we aim to serve. You will gain valuable experience in the nonprofit sector and contribute to the growth of a newly founded charity This is a volunteer position, we understand the importance of work-life balance and value your time. Your commitment can be tailored to fit your schedule. During your time with us we would want you to:

Craft compelling and persuasive grant proposals tailored to the specific requirements of potential donors and funding opportunities. Work closely with the leadership team to develop bid strategies that align with the organisation's priorities and funding needs. Collaborate with team to gather relevant information for bids and proposals. Research and identify suitable grants that align with the mission and goals of Beyond the Margin Establish and maintain positive relationships with potential donors, foundations, and funding agencies. Communicate effectively to convey the need, impact and importance of Beyond the Margins projects and interventions Maintain accurate records of bids, proposals, and outcomes. Prepare regular reports on fundraising activities and successes.

We are looking for someone with the qualities, skills and expertise to take this small charity to new heights:

Passion for the mission and values of Beyond the Margin. Previous experience in bid writing or fundraising is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong research, analytical abilities and attention to detail. Familiarity with fundraising platforms and strategies is a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

We believe that every individual has the inherent right to achieve their full potential.
