What will you be doing?
The Communications Lead will support volunteers within the communications sub-committee including social media volunteers, media relations volunteer and web master volunteer. The aim is to provide leadership and direction to the team, by planning activities to raise the profile of the branch and raise awareness of MND and the support available for people living with and affected by this devastating disease locally across South Yorkshire.
What are we looking for?
Good communication & interpersonal skills Leadership skills & ability to motivate & support volunteers within the communications sub-committee team Able to report to the management committee at regular meetings (every 6 weeks on a Monday afternoon or evening at Wincobank Village Hall, Sheffield) Understanding and knowledge of social media, marketing and PR with recommendations on how to raise the profile of the branch and increase awareness of MND and the support available locally.
