The role: As a Media Officer, you will play a crucial role in positioning Teach First and its senior stakeholders as leading voices on education issues in the media. You will raise awareness of the educational issues we care about and promote the policy ideas that could address them. Your responsibilities will include crafting compelling stories, managing press office operations, and securing media coverage that aligns with our campaign objectives. Building strong relationships with journalists and stakeholders will be key to promoting our work effectively.

Job requirements: We are looking for candidates with a keen eye for a story, experience in a busy press office, and a proven track record in media coverage. An understanding of the political and policy climate is essential, as is the ability to use media strategically to support our campaigns. A proactive attitude and a commitment to ending educational inequality are crucial.
