Volunteer Love4Life Research and Project Volunteer

What will you be doing?

We are looking for someone with experience of supporting staff and working in an office environment who will work well as member of team but also on their own initiative.  Key tasks could include:

Research that that may benefit programme development and funding applications. Project work that will help us in our remit of combatting loneliness and isolation for people with learning disabilities and autism Redefine the survey process for new members, 6-month evaluations, and annual assessments. Develop parent/carer survey. Updating policies Data collection/maintenance Assisting in developing communication channels for parents, carers, and families Assisting the director and service manager with operational and fundraising admin. Develop a bank of risk assessments for different network activities. Research other organizations offering similar services. Develop a plan for potential collaboration or differentiation. Identify influential figures for collaboration, such as MPs, councillors, and companies

This is a flexible role that will support ongoing projects and funding priorities and you will be working closely with the Managing Director. 

What are we looking for?

We would love someone who enjoys being part of small team with a proven ability to communicate effectively at a senior level with a good knowledge of office procedures e.g., Data Protection, Confidentiality and Health and Safety.  Other skills could include:

Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines. Good IT skills across Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Project management Report writing/data gathering. Attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively or own initiative
