What will you be doing?

Ategi prides itself on being a friendly organisation with a reputation for offering excellent quality  support. Ategi’s services (Shared Lives, Community Support and Supported Living) support adults with needs to live their lives their way, by helping them to live independent fulfilled lives. Our trustees are at the heart of delivering our mission, vision and values. They provide support to our committed staff team and our network of amazing independent Shared Lives carers as well as the many people we support.We operate across the UK and our Head Office is based in Wales, from where our charity began almost 30 years ago.We take great pride in the work we do and we’re always looking for ways to improve. We are excited to be embarking on a journey of growth. We are seeking new trustees to complement the skills of our other Trustee Committee members and support us in taking Ategi into the future.Our trustee group has to reflect the diversity of the people we support and the communities in which we work, and we welcome and encourage applicants from all backgrounds. Who are we looking for? As well as a shared commitment to our vision we are specifically seeking trustees with; 

Human Resources - you will have operational or strategic HR knowledge with organisational change expertise Support services for adults with additional needs - you might be a clinical psychologist, behavioural specialist. You will be qualified in your professional: NCS, BACP, MBACP, MUKCP Psychologist MSc HCPC-Clin. Psych CBP Fundraising - you might be an experienced fundraiser, have CSR experience and/or have strategic fundraising and marketing expertise Legal Advice/Risk Management - you will be legally qualified and may be, or have been, a lawyer or solicitor
