What will you be doing?
The Trustee Board set the strategic direction and ensures that the objectives to deliver that strategy are met whilst operating within our means and complying with both the membership of Citizens Advice and the law. You will be helping to maintain the highest standard of governance to provide the foundation that enables our staff and volunteers to support the vulnerable in our community.
What are we looking for?
You’ll need to:
governance experience at board level understand and accept the responsibilities and liabilities as trustees be non-judgmental and respect views, values and cultures that are different to your own have good listening, verbal and written communication skills be able to exercise good independent judgment have good numeracy skills to understand accounts with the support of the treasurer be willing to learn about and follow the Citizens Advice aims, principles and policies, including confidentiality and data protection be willing to undertake training in your role
