Read Easy provides free, confidential, one-to-one reading coaches for adults who struggle with reading. This opportunity is for a coordinator who is the first point of contact for readers, then sets up and oversees the reading pairs.

What will you be doing?

The Coordinator pairs up coaches with those who want to learn to read and provides ongoing support to these reading pairs. The coordinator is supported by a literacy specialist and a management Team, who recruit and organise training for the Coaches, fundraise for the group, and provide publicity and outreach to attract readers.

What are we looking for?

The role would suit someone who ideally has experience in: Teaching  (in any of the Educational Sectors) Experience in mentoring, supporting and motivating people An interest in people and helping them to succeed Good organisational, communication and administration skills

As a coordinator you will be involved with the reader from the beginning of this process and support them as they progress with their coach.
