What will you be doing?

Working with our Digital Media Trustee and Management Team, you'll be raising the profile of APS by ensuring our Google Ads grant is spent wisely. APS Support UK receives a budget of $10K a month to spend on Google Ads and we need to make sure that people searching for, say, "recurrent miscarriage" will be made aware of APS via our Ads. There is a lot of scope within this important role!

What are we looking for?

Campaign set up, management and optimisation across paid media channels including but not limited to Discovery campaigns, YouTube, Search and Display Ongoing reporting, including budget monitoring and spend reviews, as well as generation of bespoke reporting used to aid the team in reviewing campaign performance and suggesting future campaign optimization. Brief creative assets (including copy) to support our campaigns and ensuring smooth delivery of those assets to the team. Passion for working in Digital Marketing. Awareness of the wider Digital Marketing landscape (PPC, SEO, Paid Social and Programmatic channels). Ability to work with numbers and data interpretation. Budget management - $10k per month to spend on Google Ads

What difference will you make?

We are a very small charity with only one full-time and two part-time members of staff, but we believe we punch well above our weight! However, we are aware that we need to keep raising awareness of APS to be sustainable and are fortunate to have a monthly grant from Google that we need to spend wisely. The role of the Paid Media Executive will be pivotal to the growth and development of this increasingly influential small charity; essentially, it will mean that we can take our plans forward with confidence. APS Support UK is a national charity dedicated to supporting people affected by antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). Volunteers are protected by all the necessary insurances, and the fact that the charity is a company limited by guarantee. APS is a life-threatening autoimmune disease that causes the blood to clot too quickly. The condition can cause potentially fatal events such as strokes, heart attacks, blood clots in the lung and DVTs. In pregnancy, APS is the most important treatable cause of recurrent miscarriage and can increase the chance of stillbirth up to five times; it is also associated with other complications such as pre-eclampsia, low weight babies and premature births. APS Support UK is working hard to raise awareness and medical education of this little-known disease, as well as providing support for patients and funds for research.
