It gives them a chance to explore their abilities and test their skills, as they work together as a team.  Sea cadets learn a wide range of skills with us, from watersports to leadership, presentation skills, first aid and seamanship skills such as knots, navigation and marine engineering.  Our incredible volunteer support offers valuable role models and mentors for young people, and our units provide a sense of family and belonging. We are often a lifeline to young people who are bullied at school, offering stability and security to those in foster care and we are a pathway to meaningful careers and further education for those that struggle at school.
