What will you be doing?
We are 2 Directors and Co-Founders of a Community Interest Company which is based in Hackney, London. We registered our organisation in June 2022 as a project management company, with the aim to support individuals and businesses to develop their unique ‘Skill Within’ whilst benefiting the community. One year on and we are delighted that have over achieved on our Yr 1 business plan goals: having received funding and successfully delivered community events with Waltham Forest Council, established business partners with shared values via our network and business networking, as well as received financial donations to support our projects. As we move into year 2, some of our goals include expanding our capacity and setting up a board of Directors. At this stage, we would like to open up the opportunity for an experienced project manager to work with us to develop our existing community events and create others that align with our mission and vision, from planning to delivery, resource to risk management, budget management to evaluation. We are seeking someone with shared ethics and values to support us voluntarily and we are very flexible with remote working and working hours. Although, face to face meetings is our preference! We consider ourselves a solution focused operation and our purpose is to benefit the community; therefore we welcome ideas which compliment, enhance or support our mission - advice on funding applications and opportunities, commercial opportunities, recruiting personnel etc. In return, we hope to support you in developing your Skill Within.
