What will you be doing?

The role will involve creating and researching funding opportunities at home (UK) and abroad (internationally) with funders who are inline with our care portfolio and basket of services offered. We are committed to researching alternative treatment for the cure and prevention of Lyme's disease in the UK and to assist those suffering from long term effects from having and living with the disease. We are committed to tick drag collection for the identification of the various species of ticks and this extends to other aliments within the given disease profile that may be presented by other patients suffering from a long term condition and are seeking alternative treatment. The Charity deals with many varied patient / clients and conditions will vary from patient to patient. We have proven that herbal treatments have been extremely successful in assisting with long term and chronic conditions and can yield good responses to the alleviation of suffering by those seeking our help.

What are we looking for?

Job description Fundraiser GNHCT UK & Scotland Person Profile This post requires a person with minimum 3 years plus involvement with the Charity sector of fundraising and income generation. The person must be comfortable dealing with donor research to look at potential matches who share the same outlook and can align themselves with the brand that we have developed and the research arm to the organisation. The hours will be flexible to suit both parties and can be done remotely, provided hours worked are logged accordingly and regular check in times are arranged to update the Founder of the organisation. The ideal person should self driven, have the ability to initiate ideas and drive these forward, be competent in written and speaking in English, have the ability to write reports and complete  applications in English and understand the organisations mission, vision and ethos and able to translate this into a well worded and comprehensive founding document. Working remotely they should have a good reliable internet connection and computer skills to navigate online application and write proposals. The person should be a team player and be willing to organise and assist with various events, be creative in their approach to eventing and awareness campaigns, either with the general public or on social media platforms. The ideal candidate should be aware of their target audience and play to their strengths in these areas. Good organisational skills are key to this position and the ability to communicate on all levels be honest with their limitations and areas that need improving.
