Teach First is dedicated to ending educational inequality and ensuring fair education for all. We are looking for a Governance and Compliance Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. This role is crucial for managing our charity's governance and compliance obligations. You will support our Board of Trustees and sub-committees, manage our Internal Audit process, lead the risk management process, and maintain a robust Business Continuity Management System.

The role requires someone who can ensure compliance with regulations and our policies, promote equity, diversity, and inclusion, and align our efforts with Teach First's mission. This position is offered on a 0.6 FTE basis, with flexibility in structuring the work hours.

We are looking for candidates with experience in developing and implementing compliance processes, internal audits, risk management, and business continuity. You should be confident in advising and engaging stakeholders at all levels and capable of analyzing and simplifying complex data for decision-making. Leadership skills and an innovative approach to managing information are essential.
