The role of a Trustee is a very fulfilling experience. While unremunerated, all reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.  You will work with likeminded people, from a range of backgrounds, develop plans, attend events & represent Star There are also sub-committees that Trustees are asked to join, these are where you would use your specific area of expertise.  This is an excellent opportunity to give something back to the local community. Ideally, you will have an understanding of bereavement support and loss, working with children, young people and families   – perhaps through lived experience
