We are especially looking for mentors to provide ongoing support to young people aged 11-25.  The role involves helping young people to manage their moods and we are offering this service both virtually and face to face

What will you be doing?

The ideal Mentor would be someone who is comfortable talking with young people. Is highly motivated and able to listen attentively to the young person.  They will be able to offer solutions to their problems and help the mentee with confidence and self esteem. They are able to use their own initiative and able to motivate and act as a role model.  All training is provided to prepare the volunteer to become a mentor.  3 years experience in a mental health related role would be desirable
