Volunteer Sponsorship Advisor

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a volunteer to support our Social Awareness Department in procuring Companies to sponsor our events. You will be assisting to raise awareness about Human Trafficking, Gender Based Violence and Child Marriage by procuring sponsors to support ROMILDAMOR’s events. You will:

Work directly with the Social Awareness Manager to build an effective sponsorship strategy Attend weekly virtual meetings with the Social Awareness Manager to discuss and advance the vision of ROMILDAMOR’s Social Awareness Department Liaise with Companies (Firms, Banks and Businesses) to secure sponsorships and partnerships via funding/donations for ROMILDAMOR’s events Collaborate with the Awareness Events team, the Fundraising Gala team, and the University Tour team to ensure ROMILDAMOR’s events are sponsored and partnerships have been obtained Provide reports to ROMILDAMOR’s events Sponsors and Partners as to how their donations and funding was used and what it accomplished.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

A minimum of 3 years experience in securing corporate partnerships in the not-for-profit sector Excellent proposal writing skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Research skills to secure partnerships with corporate bodies that align with our principles and values Good sponsorship campaign planning skills Excellent negotiation and closing skills
