What will you be doing?
Main responsibilities will be -
Ensure that ACE has a financial plan and strategy and lead on its delivery Ensure up-to-date financial accounts are maintained on income and expenditure. Analyse and provide reports to board meetings on the current and projected financial position. Provide the board with advice and guidance on financial matters. Preparation of forecasts and budgets Oversee audit and tax function Ensure annual accounts are promptly completed and audited. Ensure all statutory returns are completed and submitted, including tax returns and reports for regulatory bodies. Maintain the bank account and communications with the bank. Act a signatory of statutory documents and bank account.
What are we looking for?
Certified or Chartered Accountant. Willingness to actively participate in discussions concerning needs of company’s beneficiaries, staff and the trustee board. Willingness to act in the best interest of the charity while adhering the Nolan principles of public life. Financial management experience with an in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practise. Strong analytical skills Good strategic thinking. Sound, independent judgement and ability to think creatively. Working effectively as a team member and demonstrating a willingness to learn and develop.
What difference will you make?
You will be a key member of the board, dealing with all our finances including payroll, paying of invoices, submitting monthly reports to the Board and advising the Board at monthly meetings.
