What will you be doing?
The Fundraiser/Commercial Manager will work with the Founder to develop, shape and design the funding strategy, assist with business development and financial planning and budgeting. We are seeking someone with a creative eye, great analytical skills and a passion for the visual arts.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who understands the social enterprise sector with proven experience of successful income generation from fundraising, grants and corporate sponsorships. Expert knowledge of the funding landscape for heritage/arts projects. Demonstrate a creative and lateral approach to how art can support businesses to reach their business goals. Ability to undertake research and write clear funding/sponsorship briefs. Part of this role involves working to tight deadlines so the successful candidate will be willing and able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
What difference will you make?
CasildART's mission is to transform the UK visual culture by inserting Black narratives into the landscape. Your contribution will help us deepen our impact by obtaining grants to fund our exhibitions and extend these to cities across the UK so we can reach communities that are deprived of arts and culture, particularly Black art. With your commercial expertise, we hope you will be able to leverage your skills and experience to build the organisation's profile among corporates who are keen to demonstrate how they are delivering on their ESG and ED&I objectives to serve their staff, clients and the wider community.
