What will you be doing?

We were established over 30 years ago, in the heart of Newcastle's West End and continue to grow and learn each day. We provide holistic services to women and children of colour challenging discrimination and oppression at all levels. Our holistic service model includes emergency refuge accommodation, counselling, advocacy, training (accredited and non accredited) wellbeing activities and Ending Violence Against Women and Girls services.  We are looking to recruit Trustees who are passionate about challenging oppression and discrimination at all levels, across all sectors whilst supporting our volunteers, staff, trustees and women to thrive, learn and grow along with the organisation. We are looking for Trustees who can give time, advice, guidance, support and leadership to our current Board. Skills, knowledge or experience in fundraising, marketing and communications, finance, housing, risk management, legal and governance are all welcomed.
