What will you be doing?

Ensure TCP members and users, our customers, have the best possible experience using the facilities through continuous improvement. Support and actively work to raise funds through local charity fundraising events and grant applications. Manage the Freedom Leisure relationship to ensure achievement of Key Performance Indicators. Attend monthly and as needed Trustee meetings, diaries permitting. Attend quarterly, annual and as needed meetings with FL, diaries permitting. Ensure TCP acts in accordance with the guidelines set out by the Charity Commission. 

What are we looking for?

Our trustees must have the highest ethical standards and be willing to raise all and any issues with the board.   Several years experience of working within organisations, public or private, to deliver quantified & time-bound objectives. Experience of managing projects and enjoying being part of a multi-disciplinary team.  Get the best out of all participants. Add to our existing skills base in finance, sports education and industrial planning.  Applicants with knowledge of social media,  marketing, IT, engineering, green energy solutions and project management would be advantageous.  

What difference will you make?

Expand the existing sports, education, finance and business skills of the board. Ensure the sustainability and expansion of the services we offer through constructive cost reduction, fund raising and operational management recommendations to the board and our operator, Freedom Leisure.  Bring new ideas to the team that can be actioned for maximum impact. You will participate in constructive team discussions with the board where all ideas are welcomed.  We work as a team and only succeed as a team.
