What will you be doing?

In February 2022 PAWS was given notice by the landlord to vacate the premises. In the past 18 months we have been able to raise just enough to purchase a new home. However, our social media volunteers have full time jobs and are not experienced in social media. We need an individual who can help to build a campaign and strategy to be able to push out our fundraisers and also inspire others to support us.  Key Responsibilities

Strategy and planning- Helping us maintain and build our current audiences on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter in order to help our campaign reach the right audience and reach our fundraising target.  Plan and Schedule engaging content with the support of other volunteers that keep us in touch with our current audience about the progress of our move.  Foster and managed relationships with key stakeholders and potential donors by interacting with them on our posts.  Create and manage a social media team that can be maintained through out the life time of the project and beyond.  Track and monitor performance and report back to senior members of the team to inform them of the progress of the campaign.

What are we looking for?

You should be passionate about the welfare of animals and be willing to work with a wide group of diverse people. Our organisation fosters a sense of community and trust with our supporters and we want to continue to build that.  Experience in managing social media campaigns  Leadership skills. Passion for social media and it's uses to drive change  Self motivated and experienced in working in remote teams  Strong interpersonal skills  The ability to tell stories that inspire, motivate and entertain

What difference will you make?

WIth your kind help we will be able to raise enough to build a future for our organisation so we can continue to help animals and people who need us the most.  We will be able to build:

A Cattery and Kennel  Isolation blocks for new arrivals  A doggy wash station  enclosed and safe exercise areas for both cats and dogs

You will also be a part of building a future for us so we can continue to fight for the rights of animals and give them their second chance at happiness.
