What difference will you make?
At State2Bar, we envision a legal profession that is open to all aspiring barristers, regardless of their educational background. We believe that every individual should have an equal opportunity to pursue a fulfilling career at the bar, and that the legal profession should reflect the diverse society it serves. We see a future where state-educated students are no longer underrepresented in the legal profession, but instead are valued for the unique perspectives and experiences they bring to the table. Through our advocacy, collaborative working, and community building, we aim to create a more inclusive legal profession where individuals are judged solely on their merit and potential. Our ultimate goal is to challenge the prevalent misconceptions and break down the barriers that prevent state-educated students from entering the legal profession. We strive to increase social mobility and provide a supportive platform for aspiring barristers, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to succeed regardless of their background. Together, we can foster a legal community that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. We invite you to join us in this important mission and help build a more just and equitable society for all.
