What will you be doing?
The RTC is looking for new trustees to be active for the community. We have refurbished the centre following the Covid lockdowns. We are now employing new staff, writing a business plan, deciding a new strategy, creating a new website and digital system (almost complete), and updating our policies. We would welcome people with the skills, time and experience, or those who are eager to learn, to help us with this project. Our trustees meet once a month on Teams, and undertake work in their chosen area between meetings. We are more than happy to recruit trustees to work remotely. We would particularly like help with publicity & marketing, digital communications, governance, HR and organising new activities.
What are we looking for?
We welcome any skills a trustee has to offer, we are particularly seeking support in finishing and implementing our new operating strategy, HR & recruitment, publicity & marketing, digital communications and community engagement.
What difference will you make?
We have big ambitions for the RTC and our communities, we want to build a forward-thinking operating model and we are looking for people who share this aspiration. Getting the centre running in a sustainable way and providing more activities, services and a community hub for our very rural area is the aim of our work, and we hope it will last for generations to come. As a trustee you will make a huge impact in turning this into a reality.
