What will you be doing?

We aim to give young people an experience that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment. Through various activities and adventures, we learn teamwork, respect, loyalty, self-confidence, commitment, self-discipline, honesty and how to be the best version of ourselves. We offer a range of different activities from sailing, windsurfing and powerboating - to rock climbing, camping. Our young people ae able to gain different qualifications that help them once they leave Sea Cadets. We have many facilities to offer our young people but we wish to make the building a more modern, welcoming and confortable environment for our cadets to enjoy not just on our two weekly meeting nights b but to enjoy weekend stays too.  We seek a volunteer fairly local to the Shard End are to take on the fundraiser lead as part of our trustee team.

What are we looking for?

Do you have grant application and fundraising skills? These skills are lacking in our otherwise strong team of trustees.

What difference will you make?

This is a vital role to the continued success of our unit, we are looking for someone who will help us formulate our fundraising strategy and with the support of other trustees, bring about the vision of Birmingham Stirling Sea Cadets
