What will you be doing?

In this role, you will be working with LocalGov Drupal, a pivotal tool in public sector web development, contributing to a collaborative, open-source community. Responsibilities:

Developing, testing, and implementing new features in our Drupal-based system Collaborating with design and development teams across the public sector to create user-centric web solutions Actively participating in a community of developers, sharing ideas, best practices, and innovative solutions Troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Drupal environment Consistently enhancing our codebase and contributing to the wider open-source community

What are we looking for?


Strong experience with Drupal, including custom module development, key contributed modules, and core API Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a team Passion for the open-source community and public sector development Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to commit to a regular volunteer schedule
