What will you be doing?
As a young charity we urgently need more person power to progress. We are seeking volunteer fundraisers with experience in:
Developing online giving Networking with potential donors Producing applications to charitable trusts and foundations Fundraising events
What are we looking for?
More than one volunteer would be considered as fundraising skills vary eg bid writing versus events or sponsorship. We do not expect one perfect person. We would expect a volunteer with:
Commitment to human rights, Excellent writing and communication skills, Familiarity with the field of education, Ability to take initiative , Being a self starter and a positive member of a small team. Ability to network effectively within the charity and/or business corporate responsibility sectors. Social media and computer literacy Being able to learn and listen about the Society although an awareness of the works of May Wollstonecraft (desirable)
What difference will you make?
Your input will help us generate income streams to build capacity for the Society to continue to deliver free access to materials , create new opportunities for young people and ensure our annual lecture is free. Income may be from sponsored activities, fundraising events, identifying donors or submitting bids to charitable foundations
