Volunteer Fundraising Manager

What will you be doing?

You'll lead our team in organising small and large in-person and online fundraising events and initiatives, always seeking out new opportunities. Working closely with our Social Media Team you'll help attract attention for our events and track their success. Being a slick communicator, you'll strike up affiliations with other companies to gain prizes, discounts, sponsorship or advertisement opportunities. As the rescue grows you'll expand into bid-writing to gain large funding from grant makers and corporate supporters.

What difference will you make?

Without funds, we simply can't rescue animals who need us. Many animals come to us needing Veterinary care and we're careful not to over-commit ourselves. On occasion, this means we need to turn animals away when funds are low, which goes against our entire ethos. This role will mean we can help more animals who may otherwise be abandoned or euthanised.
