What will you be doing?
Trustee skills and background: The current charity board has considerable experience with caring for the vulnerable and with associated housing and addiction issues. Further trustees with direct experience of being part of a day centre or any charity directly associated with homeless or food provision would be highly beneficial. A key aim is also additional trustees with more operational experience of operating a charity or business. Experience of setting strategy around finance, polices, procedures, IT, HR, commercial premises, record keeping, business relationships, operational cost savings and fundraising. Any trustee will be welcomed into a team that is focused on achieving the most outcomes for the funds available. Where does your board meet: Chelmsford How often does your board meet: Once a month How many hours a year do your trustees need to commit to the role (meetings incl preparation, events, wider support for the charity etc): 5 hrs a month
What are we looking for?
You will have extensive experience of the following (in a business and/or charity setting): -Fundraising -Income generation -Finance -IT -Strategy -Operations

Ideally you have a passion for being part of a charity that supports the vulnerable members of our society. And through the your knowledge, skills and experience will assist our current board in further developing our unique charity and finding innovative ways to help Sanctus to fulfil it's potential.
