What will you be doing?

Develop new and imaginative fundraising activities, including organising events. Project manage fundraising events from inception to evaluation Recruit and promote supporters and volunteers for challenges and national events Research and approach corporate entities for event sponsorships, partnerships, Charity of the Year partnerships, and donations from corporate foundations Write emails and speak with potential partners about our work to secure funds for our organisation Maintain the fundraising database, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of all records Identify and develop new fundraising opportunities Keep in contact with past donors and assist in finding new donors Communicate with past fundraisers and encourage them to consider fundraising in the future Assist in marketing our events Develop/improve fundraising support (e.g. fundraising packs and materials) Communicate with current donors and fundraisers You will be working closely with the charity's founder and Chair, who will provide an overview of our existing fundraising materials, brand, and approach to fundraising to date.

What are we looking for?

Strong writing and editing skills Good communication skills both written and verbal. Comfortable with video chat communication Some experience in fundraising  Ability to quickly understand our team's needs and our organisation's mission and services Able to ask critical questions to clarify requirements Can work within the resource constraints of a small charity Passionate about fundraising for small charities Ability to work flexibly with enthusiasm and commitment, both independently and in a small team Take the initiative and  work with little direct supervision, but also not afraid to ask for help Comfortable working in a small team or independently Experience in writing funding proposals and working in fundraising is an advantage Knowledge of corporate fundraising techniques, including Charity of the Year, sponsorship, donations, and marketing, is an advantage Ability to present and engage potential partners/sponsors in a compelling way Maintains strict confidentiality
